Then why do you have BOM in system? As you dont want it in order.
In customizing for the alternative selection of the bill of material Transaction OPJM/OS30 define that with production versions tick active
In transaction Untick OS23 status with untick Rel/WK SCH indicator and assigned that to BOM.
And in material master MRP4 view Selection method = 2 Selection by production version.
It was working for ECC, however ,since in S4HANA system BOM explosion has been simplified to selection only by production version, due to that system terminate such orders with an error message number C2142 "No valid production version found for material.
As suggested by an expert Caetano Almeida please open a message to SAP.
